Your Therapist

Maggie is a seasoned and compassionate therapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s complexities. Her career has been dedicated to supporting people from all walks of life, with a focus on providing practical, thoughtful care that meets each person where they are. She specializes in working with veterans, older adults, and caregivers—populations that often face layered emotional and logistical challenges. Maggie offers a grounded, empathetic presence to those managing chronic illness, adjusting to major life transitions, or coping with grief and loss. She also supports women as they navigate the transition into retirement and later stages of life, offering guidance and space for rediscovery, purpose, and healing. Maggie's therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs. She incorporates Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She also values creative expression and often uses art therapeutically to help clients process emotions and explore their inner world in new and meaningful ways. Her work is rooted in creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and empowered to take meaningful steps toward well-being.
